Equally influenced by literature, music and psychology, her works offer a visual prose. Working over an extended period of time, the images emerge incrementally. By layering multiple applications of oil on unconventional materials from cardboard to found wood, her works have a unique and abstract quality. “My paintings reflect ideas that sustain me. I appreciate subjectivity, and am interested in the viewer having their own ideas with a piece of my art, even if their views conflict with my own.”
